Good News! You’re probably a candidate for Laser Vision Correction!

Based on your age, there is a very good chance that you’re a candidate for Laser Vision Correction (All-Laser LASIK, Epi-LASIK/PRK or SMILE LASIK), but it is difficult to determine which procedure is MOST appropriate for you without knowing your exact prescription, if you have astigmatism, your corneal thickness and corneal shape. That’s why we recommend scheduling your free consultation, so we can determine your best and safest option. Learn more about your potential options:

All-Laser Wavefront LASIK is the most common type of Laser Vision Correction procedure performed in the United States. LASIK is FDA-approved to treat up to -12.0 diopters of nearsightedness and 6.o diopters of astigmatism, as long as certain measurements are within normal range to be medically advisable. Wavefront Epi-LASIK may be the procedure of choice if your corneas are thin or asymmetrically-shaped. For certain patients, SMILE LASIK may also be recommended. SMILE LASIK is a modern FDA-approved laser procedure that can also to treat up to -8.0 diopters of pure nearsightedness without visually-significant astigmatism.

The EVO ICL is an FDA-approved vision correction procedure for patients with severe or extreme nearsightedness (Up to -20 diopters), or for patients that are not good candidates for LASIK due to thin corneas or asymmetrically-shaped corneas. We frequently recommend the EVO ICL for individuals with high degrees of nearsightedness, especially over -12 diopters. It is important to take specific measurements of the dimensions of your eye to determine if the EVO ICL is appropriate for you.
