The evaluation is free of charge if you have not had previous eye surgery.  This appointment will take approximately 1 1/2 hours. If you wear contact lenses, for the most accurate screening measurements, Dr. Bindi prefers that you remove soft contact lenses 7 days prior to your appointment -or- hard/gas permeable 3 weeks prior and Ortho-K contact lenses for 3 months prior.

If not feasible, then at least try to leave out as long as possible. Measurements will be re-checked day of your procedure, if necessary. Please bring in any “back up” pair of glasses you may own, as well as a pair of sunglasses, as your pupils may be dilated. If you wish to obtain a prescription for glasses there is a fee of $85. This time has been specifically reserved for you. Please call at least 24 hours ahead of time, if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This courtesy on your part will make it possible for us to offer your appointment to another patient. If you are 15 minutes late we may need to reschedule your appointment.

Contact us at (408) 984-1010 if you have any questions or concerns. We are available Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. For more information on our center, visit our Website at 2020eyesite.com .
