Myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia are the most common vision problems. Myopia, also called nearsightedness, causes faraway objects to appear blurry. Hyperopia, also called farsightedness, actually causes both near and far vision to be blurry, but people with the condition have better far vision than near vision.
