The FDA requires that laser manufacturers provide surgeons and their patients with "Patient Information Booklets" specific to the excimer laser used, the procedure chosen (LASIK, Wavefront LASIK, or PRK), and the type of refractive error being treated (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism). Please take time to review the booklet relating to your treatment.
